Account and preferences

A few details are worth setting once rather than explaining on every trip: how fast you like to move, what you eat, what you can and cannot walk up.

How you travel

Slower mornings, vegetarian food, step-free routes, a budget you are comfortable with, the kind of days you enjoy. Set once under How you travel and it carries across trips, so each new one does not start from nothing. Anything one-off, like a birthday dinner or a temporary injury, belongs in that trip instead.

About you

Your name, photo, and contact details: the things collaborators see when you join their trip. Login credentials and account access live alongside them.

Staying in the loop

Jonetsu lets you know when something on a shared trip actually needs you: someone joining, a cost worth a look, a date getting close. It stays deliberately quiet about everything else, so an update means something when it arrives.

Questions

Worth knowing

Why set preferences at all?

They give the assistant and your plans a head start. A trip that already knows you prefer slow mornings and no stairs needs a lot less correcting.
