Shared expenses
Log costs as they happen and Jonetsu keeps a running balance for everyone on the trip. At the end, it shows who pays whom.
Log a cost in one short form
Enter a description, the amount, who paid, who to split it between, and the date. Jonetsu sets the category from the description, so “taxi to the airport” files as transport. Or tell Jonetsu “James paid 1000 for dinner last night” and approve its draft.
See spending, balances, and categories
Recent lists every expense and settlement, with filters by date, type, and search. Who owes what shows each person’s balance. By category shows where the money went.
Settle up in the fewest payments
Under Settle up, Jonetsu suggests the fewest transfers that bring everyone to zero. When someone pays, record it and the balances update.

Does everything have to be split evenly?
Each cost splits evenly between the people you tick under Split between. Leave someone out and they owe nothing for it.
Can I just ask who owes what?
Yes. Ask Jonetsu “what do I owe so far?” or “who owes whom after last night?” and it reads the current balances.
