Plan
Recommendations
Recommendations sit inside the trip and are generated for it: your destination, your dates, the way you said you like to travel. They are suggestions with their reasoning attached, not a generic top-ten list.
Narrow it to what you want
Generate a set, then filter: Activities, Food & Drink, Day Trips, or Hidden Gems, and by price when budget is the deciding factor. On a multi-city trip you can look at one city at a time instead of everything at once.
It tells you why
Each suggestion carries a "why we picked this for your trip" line, so you can judge the reasoning rather than trust the ranking, and dismiss the ones whose reasoning does not match your trip. There is a link straight out to Google Maps when you want to see where it sits.
Two things to do with one
Save it to a wishlist if it is a maybe, or plan it straight onto the itinerary if it is a yes. Planning it lets you pick the day and time yourself, or have Jonetsu propose a slot that fits the rest of that day.
Questions
Worth knowing
How is this different from Explore?
Recommendations are generated for this trip and live inside it. Explore is for browsing a destination more broadly, often before a trip has much shape.
What happens to one I save?
It goes to the wishlist you choose and waits there. When you find a gap in a day, it is already saved and ready to drop in.
