Planning with other people
Invite people to a trip and they become Collaborators. Everyone reads the same plan, and you choose who can edit it.
Invite by email or link
You can use both on the same trip.
- Open the trip and go to Collaborators
- Under Invite by email, enter an address, pick Viewer or Editor, and send
- Or under Invite link, pick Viewer or Editor and share the link
- In a chat app, the link shows a preview with your trip’s cover art
Choose who can edit
Editors change the plan with you. Viewers see the whole trip but cannot change it. Switch someone’s role at any time and it applies at once.
- Editor — adds and changes days, bookings, and lists
- Viewer — sees the whole trip and follows the plan
- Owner — manages invites and roles

Common questions
What if they don’t have a Jonetsu account?
The invite takes them through sign-up and then opens the trip.
Can I change someone from Viewer to Editor later?
Yes. Change their role on the Collaborators page and it applies immediately.
